ColorFire is the musical project of three musicians Landon Austin, Justin Ebach, and Aaron Lagrone. All three were primarily singer/songwriters prior to ColorFire. Late one night Landon texted Justin that he was interested in pursuing a different genre of music other than acoustic. And when Justin replied to see what genre Landon was talking about he replied that he wanted to make Electronic Pop/Rock music. Almost immediately Landon and Justin recruited Aaron and the band began to listen to artists such as Passion Pit, Owl City, MGMT for influence. And within a month's time began creating their own take on the Electronic/Pop genre.
ColorFire currently is giving away all of their music completely free of charge. The band has given away tens of thousands of online downloads and continues to create more music to give away... for the time being. And the only thing the band asks in return is a small donation. The donation money goes to paying for the production of the ColorFire music and ColorFire personally thanks every person who donates.
